Doings 4/23/12

So this is my first post on my blog. I am naming my blog; Sunshine's Doings. My mother for years and years has emailed us every day and she would call it her doings. The email would contain things she planned to do for the day; interesting news from the newspaper; or random information or advice.  As for facebook, well, I absolutely love facebook. I am pro facebook but ran into a few who were totally against my being an open book, so I thought about it for awhile.  And here I am, starting a blog. I am not totally sure how this is different, its actually less antisocial if you ask me. Just giving it a whirl.  Today started out with a stop at Gate gas station on the way out, like I do every morning.  I feel perplexed and angry again at the occurence of John's death.  I threw my phone into the ocean last night and yelled at the ocean for awhile ( God and John). For some reason, I think they live out there. Anyway, the gentleman must have noticed my sorrow or confusion or anger, and when he rung up my coffee, he said " That wil be $5.11 and a smile please." I looked up, I had not realized the frown on my face as we many times dont. So I smiled and told him to have a good day.  This evening, I walked the bridge for exercise as oppossed to my usual staring at facebook in hopes of companionship.  On the return trip on the bridge, I looked up and noticed that someone had placed a sticker on the cement pole and it said, " Change occurs gradually, stay positive."  So is that two signs today for me or did I just have my eyes open?
